We are a multiple award-winning and market-leading provider of school facilities. We play a significant role in renewing and expanding the schools estate across the country, from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland to the South West of England.

As a leading contractor partner for the Department of Education in England and the Hub procurement vehicles in Scotland, we have lengthy experience of collaborating with stakeholders across the education sector to produce well-thought out solutions.

Our Optimum Schools concept provides cutting-edge facilities for teaching and learning, meeting the urgent need for additional school places, enabling curriculum delivery and replacing outdated infrastructure.

Higher Education

Across the country, we have been trusted by the UK’s leading universities to deliver high-quality buildings that meet a wide range of operational needs, including teaching and research facilities, student accommodation and social and cultural spaces.

We have an in-depth understanding of the policy drivers and practical challenges within this sector, meeting our clients and users expectations for the different building types involved.

SEND schools

During the last three years, Galliford Try has been involved with delivering 17 projects delivering Special Schools, Additional Support Needs and Inclusive Learning Environments to the value of £265m.

Our projects cover a wide spectrum of needs from social, emotional and mental health needs, to moderate learning difficulties, and up to complex needs including respite and residential care.  We understand the importance of creating tailored education facilities for children and young people with special and additional needs by recognising and celebrating each scheme’s individual objectives and sensitivities.
