Galliford Try signs contracts for major AO Arena refurbishment

Galliford Try’s Building North West team has signed contracts with ASM Global for the major refurbishment of the AO Arena live entertainment venue located in central Manchester, which is currently undergoing a transformative redevelopment.

The ambitious £30m overhaul of the venue includes the refurbishment of the entrance and back of house areas, as well as a reconfiguration of the performance bowl itself that will increase the capacity for major events.

The project also includes the creation of The Mezz - a new luxury mezzanine area which includes new restaurants and hospitality areas, as well as providing a completely new viewing area.

AO Arena in Manchester is located in the heart of the city and is one of the busiest indoor arenas in the world.
