Galliford Try has been awarded positions on the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) second generation Hard FM framework, to delivery Security, Fire and Hard FM Managed Services.

The framework is valued up to £800m by SBS and is set to run until April 2024 with the option to extend to 2026 and is open to be utilised by all NHS trusts across England, Wales and Scotland. This award compliments Galliford Try’s existing offering to the NHS, which sees project work delivered through the NHS SBS construction Framework as well as Frameworks held with Procure23 and Crown Commercial Service.

The business will focus on fire and security systems within the new framework, now delivered by the newly-branded Asset Intelligence business unit, which joined the Group as part of the nmcn acquisition last year. The framework also opens up future markets for the existing Galliford Try Facilities Management business as a hard FM provider.

Uzair Osman, Managing Director of Asset Intelligence, said: “Galliford Try as a group has a proud track record of supporting the NHS and we are delighted to have an opportunity to do the same with the specialist offering from our part of the business. We look forward to working with SBS and NHS Trusts across the country to offer enhanced value and ensure that their facilities are safe, secure and functioning to a high standard for staff and service users.”
