Galliford Try’s Highways business has been awarded a place on National Highways new Pavement Delivery Framework (PDF).

The £1.3bn framework will run over a five-year term covering surfacing and pavement construction operations, including repairs, resurfacing and highway maintenance. The business was awarded places on Lot 4 for the North East region and Lot 6 covering the Midlands.

The framework builds on Galliford Try’s strong relationship with National Highways, as an existing member of the Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) and Regional Delivery Partnership (RDP), and is consistent with the Group’s Sustainable Growth Strategy, which targets long-term high quality framework positions.

David Lowery, Managing Director of Galliford Try Highways, commented: “We are delighted to have been appointed by National Highways to this important framework position. Adding the PDF, to our existing positions on the SDF and RDP, demonstrates the success of our close collaboration across the country with National Highways as one of our key clients, and how our business is well positioned to capitalise on opportunities within the sector in the future.”
