Galliford Try’s Kay Caldwell, Office Manager for the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and Michelle Duberry, Personal Assistant to the Partnership Director in Highways have been nominated as finalists at the West Midlands Personal Assistant (PA) Awards.
As a nominee for the Office Manager of the Year Award, Kay was recognised for the hard work she put into designing and implementing new procedures for the company that have helped improve processes, while Michelle was nominated for the Project Champion of the Year Award in recognition of her excellent organisational skills and extensive business case proposal for the Regional Delivery Partnership (RDP) East teams brand new office space.
Commenting on her nomination, Kay said: “I feel very surprised and proud to be nominated for this award. While the whole team has put in a lot of effort, it is nice to also be recognised for my personal contribution to the Shared Service Centre.”
Michelle said: “Being nominated for this award was a complete shock, but it was a pleasant surprise. Organising the office move was a full on task, but an excellent way to meet the team and bring everyone together in the RDP EAST Hub.”
The West Midlands PA Awards are designed to highlight and celebrate the achievements of those within the Personal Assistant industry in recognition of the passion, dedication, drive, and commitment they bring to their team and organisation.
The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 14 July 2023 at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham.
