Galliford Try Digital Infrastructure (GTDI), in partnership with GHD, has been appointed to the new ESPO Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (VCI3) Framework.
The framework, which will run for two years with the possibility to extend for two more, has a value of £200m across all lots.
The GTDI/GHD partnership has been appointed to Lot 4 – Consultancy Services, as the lead framework holder, including site identification, feasibility studies, Electric Vehicle (EV) charging strategy development and programme planning. ESPO is a public sector owned professional buying organisation (PBO), owned and managed by six county councils throughout the Midlands.
The framework award builds on GTDI’s growth in the EV charging space, coming on the back of its appointment to a £4.4m programme by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Andy Duggins, Managing Director for GTDI, commented: “We are delighted to have been appointed by ESPO to this new framework that builds on our strategic aims within the EV infrastructure market.
“Our partnership with GHD adds additional technical depth and assurance, strengthening our offer to public-sector clients and underpinning our capability across the full EV lifecycle.”
Kevin Eyers, Regional General Manager for GHD in the UK said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Galliford Try Digital Infrastructure, this collaboration brings together our shared commitment to accelerating the UK’s transition to cleaner transport solutions. By combining GHD’s technical expertise with GTDI’s delivery capability, we’re well placed to support public sector clients in developing robust, future focused EV charging networks. We’re excited about the opportunities this framework unlocks and the positive impact it will bring to communities across the country."
