Galliford Try’s Infrastructure business has been reappointed to the £1bn YORcivil Major Works 2 framework.
The new iteration of the framework will run for a four-year period, with a potential extension to six, from January 26, with a pipeline of projects worth in excess of £10m in value. The framework will be accessible to all local authorities across Yorkshire and Humber as well as the Sheffield Local Enterprise Partnership region that includes Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Projects will primarily include maintenance and construction of new highways, bridges and public realm works, as well as flood alleviation schemes, integrated transport hubs and associated works. Galliford Try’s Infrastructure team is currently delivering the £34m A629 redevelopment scheme in Halifax under the current framework.
Glennan Blackmore, Managing Director for Galliford Try Infrastructure, commented: “We are delighted to have been re-appointed to this important framework for the North of England. Our relationships with the Local Authority sector are key to delivering our Sustainable Growth Strategy ambitions, and we look forward to working with our partners at YORCivil and through the local authorities to improve the infrastructure of the region.”
