Galliford Try Building East Midlands has successfully completed the Park Square Private Rented Sector (PRS) scheme, in the centre of Milton Keynes.

The project features 329 residential apartments, located on the site of a former garden centre, directly across from the Xscape activity centre and bordered by Avebury Boulevard and Secklow Gate.

Delivered by multi-disciplinary design practice, RG+P architects and with RLB providing a range of services including employer’s agent, cost consultancy, clerk of works, fire compartmentation surveys and health and safety services, the complex incorporates various Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to streamline construction and improve site safety.

The development comprises four residential buildings, ranging in height from three, seven, nine and 11 storeys, along with extensive amenities offered for tenants including an underground parking facility, and a central courtyard.

Each apartment is equipped with smart meters, and the development boasts sustainable features, including solar photovoltaic power and electric vehicle charging stations.

Jon Marston, Managing Director of Galliford Try Building East Midlands, commented: “Completing the Park Square development marks a significant milestone for both our team and the community of Milton Keynes and showcases our commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable housing. We’re proud to have played a key role in transforming this central location into a vibrant new space.”

Tom Caesar, Associate from RLB, added: “Park Square continues our long-standing relationship with Galliford Try, transforming underutilised sites into vibrant, sustainable residential communities. This project not only drives regeneration but also delivers over 300 new apartments for local residents.”
