The prestigious Knightsbridge scheme 30-33 Sloane Street, which is being redeveloped by Galliford Try marked a significant milestone with a ceremonial topping out and final bolt tightening.

The ceremony, which signifies the highest point of the building being constructed, was attended by Lord Cadogan, Chairman of client Cadogan and Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive of Cadogan, alongside key stakeholders and supply chain partners.

Located in one of the world’s most prestigious luxury retail destinations, the £70m redevelopment will deliver a new six-storey mixed-use building plus basement, featuring premium retail units, Cat A office space and a rooftop restaurant and terrace area. The project will retain the historic Tudorbethan facade while aspiring to achieve the highest standards of sustainable design and construction.

This work complements Cadogan’s recent £46m transformation of the Sloane Street public realm, creating a 1km long green boulevard from Knightsbridge to Sloane Square.

Matthew Pool, Managing Director of Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial, commented:"The topping out at 30-33 Sloane Street is a proud moment for the entire project team. This development showcases how heritage, sustainability and modern construction can come together to create a truly exceptional destination. We are pleased to be delivering this landmark project in partnership with Cadogan and look forward to seeing the scheme reach completion."
