Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial’s Dolphin Square project has won both the BTR (Build-to-Rent) Project of the Year and Residential Project of the Year awards at the prestigious Global Real Estate Institute (GRI) Awards.

The GRI Institute Awards celebrate outstanding organisations shaping European real estate and recognise stand out projects through architecture, quality of life and the commitment of the team's collaboration and leadership.

Dolphin Square, a landmark residential development, is home to over 1,500 residents and is divided into 13 ten-storey blocks, known as ‘Houses’, each named after a famous navigator or admiral.

In partnership with AXA IM Alts and the Dolphin Square management team, the phased restoration is set to modernise the 795,990 sq ft 1930s-built estate and provide over 1,200 high-quality private rental apartments with enhanced amenity space and common areas.

Galliford Try is currently undertaking the second phase of the restoration and redevelopment of the 7.5-acre Pimlico Estate and the refresh of the swimming pool and spa.

Phase two focuses on refreshing six estate houses Keyes, Hood, Collingwood, Frobisher, Grenville and Drake encompassing 542 homes that range from studio to six-bedroom apartments across nine storeys.

Matthew Pool, Managing Director for Galliford Try Building London and South East Commercial, said: "Congratulations to our team and to our continued partnership with AXA IM Alts for being recognised in not one, but two categories at this year’s awards. This recognition is a testament to our team’s commitment to delivering high-quality buildings that positively impact the community, while honouring and preserving the rich history of the site."
