Galliford Try has been shortlisted for three major accolades at this year’s Building Awards, recognising both the company’s continued focus on delivering high quality projects that improve lives, and exceptional leadership.

Chief Executive Bill Hocking has been named a finalist for CEO of the Year, acknowledging his strong leadership and the company’s continued progress across its Sustainable Growth Strategy. Under Bill’s direction, Galliford Try has delivered five years of consistent, sequential growth and recently entered the FTSE 250, strengthening its position as one of the UK’s leading construction groups.

In addition, the business’ Dolphin Square project, built by Galliford Try’s Building London South East business unit, has been shortlisted for Housing Project of the Year and the Delivering Social Value award. The awards highlight the team’s commitment to quality and creating positive, measurable impact beyond construction, from local employment and skills development to community engagement and environmental enhancement.

Bill Hocking, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said: “Dolphin Square is a fantastic project and I’m proud to see the team and scheme recognised for the tangible difference we can make when quality and social value are placed at the heart of construction.

“I am also honoured to be included in the awards shortlist, which is a reflection of our progress as a business and the incredible work our people do every day, not only delivering excellence for our clients, but ensuring that every project creates lasting value for the communities we serve.”

The winners will be announced Tuesday 4 November, celebrating excellence and innovation across the UK built environment sector.
