Galliford Try was one of three contractors appointed by Manchester Airports Group (MAG) to execute its entire Capital Delivery Programme over three years.

The programme included work at MAG’s four airports: Manchester, Stansted, East Midlands and Bournemouth. MAG’s portfolio is diverse and works through the framework varied from a £20,000 “quick fix” retail refurbishment through to a multi-million pound business-critical, highly complex terminal modernisation project and runway refurbishment.

Our ability to provide building and infrastructure services from regional offices in close proximity to MAG’s assets yielded project wins, including a £24m project for airfield upgrade and renewal works at Manchester and East Midlands airports.

Other projects under the framework include, the surface car park B at Manchester Airport, an £8.4m 8,000-space new car park, and the Manchester Airport road tunnel lighting - a £3.6m project to refurbish the four tunnel bores on the A538 with new a new, modern energy efficient, low maintenance and controllable lighting system.
