Tom McClenaghan among Scotland's Most Promising

Morrison Construction Site Agent Tom McClenaghan has been crowned CECA Scotland's Most Promising Technician at its annual dinner in Glasgow.

The Most Promising Awards recognise the brightest and best new talent in the industry. Starting with Morrison Construction in 2017 as a Trainee Technician, Tom has continued to build on his enthusiastic and hardworking work ethic and demonstrates all the behaviours and skillsets to progress into a senior management role within the GT business. His value, potential and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude was quickly spotted by his peers and superiors and is a vital member of the team in which he works.

As well as picking up the prestigious award, Tom was also gifted £500 in recognition of his hard work and outstanding talent.

CECA (Civil Engineering Contractors Association) Scotland is the sole trade body for Scotland’s civil engineering contractors, representing around 80% of the industry who everyday work to drive Scotland’s economic growth, working across the roads, rail, water and power sectors and delivering the vital infrastructure businesses and communities in Scotland rely on.
