Galliford Try’s Building Southern business unit received three accolades from Southern Construction Framework (SCF), in their annual awards.

SCF Construct is a leading public sector construction framework across the south of England, and their annual awards recognise those framework partners that have achieved excellence working with SCF on their pipeline of projects.

Building Southern’s Kidbrooke Park Primary School project team were awarded the Integrated Team of the Year award, being recognised by SCF for their outstanding collaboration with the whole project team with regards to risk, supply chain and market intelligence.

Meanwhile, Angela Purse and Priya Parthi jointly won the Framework Manager of the Year award, with SCF noting their continual hard work in supporting SCF initiatives across the board as part of the business’ collaborative relationship.

Finally, the Subcontractor of the Year award (Lot 3 – London) was won by NHE Carpentry who worked for Galliford Try on the ground-breaking Somerleyton Road (Brixton House) project. NHE were singled out for their proactive response to working during the impacts from Brexit and the pandemic and rising above all the technical and quality challenges put before them.

Gavin Bridge, Managing Director of Building Southern, commented: “We have a fantastic relationship with SCF and I am delighted that our teams have been recognised in this way. This is a deserved recognition of how dedicated both our people and our supply chain are, and we look forward to creating more award-winning projects with SCF in the future.”
