Galliford Try is proud to have received a Gold Award through The 5% Club’s Employer Audit Scheme for early careers for the second year running.

Introduced last year, the award recognises the significant contribution and strength towards the continued development of its early careers ‘earn and learn’ programmes.

Galliford Try has been a valued member of the 5% Club since 2017, which recognises the UK’s best employers of apprentices, graduates, and degree placement students. It explores students’ plans for plans for future growth, as well as businesses’ approach to inclusion and social mobility.

Mark Cameron OBE, Chief Executive at The 5% Club, said: “Our Employer Audit scheme recognises the efforts of all those employers who invest in their workforce through a broad range of workplace learning schemes. It is fantastic that in these challenging times so many are able to commit to the Employer Audit and to gain the credit for their efforts, and that the majority are striving to expand their schemes over the coming years. Their efforts and achievements are to be applauded.”

Vikki Skene, HR Director and Executive Board member of Galliford Try, said: “Our track record for early careers development as an organisation has continued to excel and we are pleased to have achieved Gold membership again this year. Being ranked second in the list of 100 apprentices and graduates to work for across the industry for ‘Top Graduate and Apprentice Employer’ by JobCrowd, shows our focus on being a people-orientated, progressive business driven by our values.”
