Galliford Try’s Building North West team has handed over the mixed-use Stockport Exchange project to national urban regeneration company, Muse Developments, and Stockport Council.

The scheme included a new 64,000sqft office building that provides a modern, state-of-the-art work space for businesses to thrive in the area, next to Stockport station. The 399-space multi-storey car park will provide a space for those who work in the office to park, as well as charging points for electric vehicles and a green ‘living’ wall on the building’s exterior.

The project represents the fourth phase of the award-winning Stockport Exchange regeneration scheme, a partnership between Muse and Stockport Council, which is creating a new business district in the heart of the town.

Darren Parker, Managing Director for Galliford Try Building North West, commented: “Galliford Try is delighted to have completed work on the Stockport Exchange project, in partnership with Muse Developments and Stockport Council.

“This exciting new building and multi-storey car park is part of a fantastic regeneration scheme that is helping to revitalise the centre of Stockport and we are proud to have played our part in that mission.”
