Galliford Try awarded £75m Brent Cross Town Residential Scheme

Date 29 Mar 2023

Galliford Try’s Building London South East and Commercial business has been appointed to deliver a new Build-to-Rent (BtR) residential building at Brent Cross Town on behalf of Related Argent and Invesco Real Estate’s joint venture.

The £75m project in North London that is funded by ICG Real Estate is part of the 180-acre Brent Cross Town regeneration scheme, which is being delivered in partnership by Barnet Council and Related Argent. Related Argent is a repeat client for Galliford Try, having delivered another regeneration scheme for two mixed-use residential buildings in Tottenham Hale last August.

A total of 249 new homes for private rent and amenity areas will be created across three new blocks, continuing the rapid growth of one of Britain's largest net zero towns, which will create nearly 7,000 new homes, three million sq ft of offices, a high street and schools surrounded by 50 acres of parks and playing fields.

Bill Hocking, Chief Executive of Galliford Try, said: “The private rental and wider residential sectors are an integral part of our Sustainable Growth Strategy, particularly when we have the opportunity to work with respected repeat clients like Related Argent and Invesco Real Estate. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with them and all the stakeholders involved to produce more high-quality apartments for the local community.”
