Galliford Try has been awarded a £47.5m contract by Thames Water to deliver the Camberley Sewage Treatment Works (STW) Flow Compliance project, a major scheme designed to improve the performance, resilience and environmental compliance of the treatment works.
The project will enhance flows through the existing inlet works, primary settlement tanks and storm protection tanks. It will include the reconfiguration of currently unused tanks to provide additional storm storage, alongside the installation of new motor control centres, generators, pumping stations and extensive above- and below-ground pipework.
Building on Galliford Try’s successful early contractor involvement, the Environment business’ Engineering team developed the outline design before progressing into detailed design. This demonstrates the breadth of capability across the business and the value of bringing together specialist engineering, design and delivery expertise to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
