Galliford Try appointed to major northern civils framework

Galliford Try’s Highways business has been appointed to the new YORcivil major works framework.

The framework will be accessible to all local authorities across Yorkshire and Humber as well as the Sheffield Local Enterprise Partnership region that includes Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Projects will primarily include maintenance and construction of new highways, bridges and public realm works, as well as flood alleviation schemes, integrated transport hubs and associated works.

The total value of the framework is £2bn split between eight contractors over a four-year term with the option for a two-year extension. All schemes will be worth over £10m.
