Galliford Try has secured a place on Highways England’s pavements framework in Lot 7, ‘North East (minor)’.
The work is expected to be worth up to £40m over four years to Galliford Try. It encompasses bituminous and concrete patching, surfacing and pavement construction operations including planing (milling), paving, ironwork and associated ancillary works, adjustment, renewal, in-situ and ex-situ recycling, foot-way surfacing and asphalt kerbing.
The north-east region covers Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Co Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear as well as parts of Derbyshire. The total value of the framework is up to £3.3bn.
