Galliford Try East Midlands’ Broad Marsh car park continues to lead the way, with multiple new award nominations for the £43m project.
Broad Marsh has been nominated in the Best New Car Park and Outstanding Car Park categories at the British Parking Awards, while also being named as finalist for Development of the Year and Sustainable Development of the Year at the East Midlands Brick Awards. The business has also been shortlisted for the Contractor of the Year prize in the latter.
The nominations for the Broad Marsh scheme, delivered on behalf of Nottingham City Council, followed on from recent successes at the Constructing Excellence East Midlands Awards where it received the Collaboration and Integration Award and was Highly Commended in the Building Project of the Year category.
Winners will be announced on 15 September at the East Midlands Brick Awards in Nottingham and 16 September for the British Parking Awards in London.
Jon Marston, Managing Director of Building East Midlands, commented: “The redevelopment of Broad Marsh has fast become a flagship scheme for both the city of Nottingham and our East Midlands business. It’s great to see the long list of accolades this project has been shortlisted for and I wish the team the best of luck at the awards in September.”
