FTSE Group confirms that Galliford Try has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria, and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. Created by the global index company FTSE Group, FTSE4Good is an equity index series that is designed to facilitate investment in companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards. Companies in the FTSE4Good Index Series have met stringent environmental, social and governance criteria, and are positioned to capitalise on the benefits of responsible business practice. Considerate Constructors Scheme

As Associate Members of the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) Galliford Try our sites are evaluated against measures of their appearance, community, environment, safety and workforce by independent CCS auditors. In 2014 our average score was 37.5 out of 50, notably above the industry average and 19 sites won awards. For more information on the scheme please see here.

The CDP measures a company's approach to managing and reporting carbon, water and timber impacts. Galliford Try has participated in CDP's carbon evaluation since 2009. In 2015 Galliford Try scored "98" for disclosure and "B" for performance, exceeding the industry average of 87 and C respectively. For more information on the benchmark please see here.
