Our framework contract with BT involves the provision of conditioned space within existing BT telephone exchanges throughout the UK.
Typical scope of works include the provision of overhead cable runways and other support ironwork, new electrical and air conditioning systems and general building works, all of which create a suitable environment for the installation of additional equipment.
The project forms part of BT’s 21st Century Network (CN) roll out and local loop unbundling project. The objective of 21CN is to consolidate BT's complex network to ensure that the delivery of the next generation of converged services is faster, more efficient and more cost-effective than ever before.
From initial survey to completion, the works at each exchange took approximately six to eight weeks. This resulted in substantial numbers of sites calling upon our experience to manage and undertake a large number of installation projects of this nature all over the country.
