Severn Trent Water Framework Agreement
Client: Severn Trent Water
Galliford Try is progressing the Severn Trent Wind Development project with consultancy, planning, design and construction work.
After completing an initial assessment of Severn Trent Water’s 5,000 site portfolio, consultancy, planning and design works are taking place on 12 key sites.
The framework consists of a five year framework agreement including up to 40MW worth of wind to be delivered by 2012/13.
Regeneco’s full turnkey service provision includes:
- Portfolio feasibility.
- Detailed site feasibility.
- Met mast planning permission and installation.
- 12 month wind assessments and production of bankable yield assessments.
- Concept design.
- Ecology, Landscape and Visual Impact (LVIA), cultural heritage, hydrological, traffic and transport, grid connection and other assessments.
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) production, planning submission and planning appeals.
- Civils and electrical design.
- Construction.
- Turbine supply and installation.
Ultimately the above works will be delivered with programmed build dates, subject to planning approval.
