The project consists of the construction of two adjacent buildings, linked at ground floor level, together with an element of external works predominantly comprising car parking and landscaping.

The main building consists of a 16 storey office block including basement. The ground floor area is approximately 2,000 sq m and incorporates an entrance lobby, reception area and meeting rooms. Above the first floor, the footprint reduces to 1,000 sq m per floor with 12 floors of office space.

The second building is a five storey conference facility of 2,000 sq m with central atrium area and restaurant at roof level and basement parking.

Both buildings are constructed of a reinforced concrete frame on a 5m grid and the foundations are based on a cellular raft system. Air conditioning will be by means of a centrally located plant with generators providing stand by power in the event of main supply outage.

The project was designed by local architects and developed to be constructed utilising the skills of local labour. The construction is being project managed by Galliford Try utilising a mixture of local and expatriate personnel.
