This project involved building new teaching, sports and administration facilities at Wren Academy which now serves 1,000 students.
The Academy’s specialism is Design and the Built Environment, and the new building provides a learning tool for students through its structure and green credentials. Achieving a BREEAM rating of “Very Good”, the design includes sustainability features including insulation and air-tightness, a biomass boiler, lighting controls and a sedum roof.
