The multi-million PPP project provides new facilities for three secondary schools, five primaries (including a Gaelic medium school), one combined primary and secondary, and a special educational needs school. Eight of the schools will be located around Inverness, and one each at Portree (Skye) and Kinlochleven.
The schools will provide replacement facilities for approximately 15 per cent of the Highland Council’s estate (by pupil numbers) and also facilities for new catchment areas.
