Dover Street

Client: Royal London Mutual Assurance Society Schools
Value: £17 million
Location: London

Galliford Try has constructed a mixed use scheme at Dover Street in Mayfair, London.

The existing 1960s building was replaced with retail space at ground level, offices at first to fifth levels and penthouse apartments on the sixth. The primary structure and external envelope was retained but the space behind converted into residential accommodation.

The frame of the new building is structural steel, founded from the basement with lightweight concrete floors on profiled metal decking. The façade consists of insulated Portland stone precast panels with aluminium framed windows.
