Client: Homes and Communities Agency

Linden Homes is delivering the UK's first major net zero carbon regeneration site for up to 750 homes for the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA). The homes are being built on the former Graylingwell hospital site in a joint venture with the Affinity Sutton Housing Association.
The Graylingwell site is set in 90 acres of grade II listed historic parks and gardens of historic interest. The project will provide approximately 750 homes, of which 40 per cent will be affordable, in addition to commercial/community buildings.
Graylingwell Park’s environmental credentials were recognised at the 2010 Housebuilder Awards where it won Best Low or Carbon Zero Initiative. The development also scooped Sustainable Larger Housing Project of the Year at the Sustainable Housing Awards 2010.
