South East Essex LIFT

South East Essex PCT is delivering state-of-the art new health centres that enable local GP surgeries to come together and integrate on one location along with a wide range of additional community and out-patient services.

The first major scheme at Canvey Island has been delivered and now the planning and designing of a further six schemes throughout the region is underway

Margaret Hathaway, Project Director NHS South East Essex, said: "The new building is very impressive and will make a huge difference to the people of Canvey. It shows the rest of South East Essex what can be achieved." 

Katherine Kirk, Chair of South East Essex PCT, said: “We know there is a lot of excitement on Canvey Island, as residents have seen the building nearing completion. We are really pleased as they are the people who will be using it, after all."
