Oak Fire Protection receives Security and Fire Excellence Award

Galliford Try’s Oak Fire Protection, who are part of the Oak Specialist Services business received the Passive Fire Project of the Year award for its Tesco Extra, Woolwich scheme at this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards.

Following on from previous successful projects with the client, Oak Fire Protection were selected to complete the major fire remediation work for Tesco Extra. The works included installing Passive Fire Protection Systems inside the Tesco Extra Store, car park, 260 residential apartments, as well as the communal areas, with a total value of £1.66m.

The Security and Fire Excellence Awards recognise excellence and innovation across the UK in the security and fire sectors.

Meanwhile, Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence businesses was shortlisted for categories including Security Installer of the Year and Best Company to Work for.
