This is a Partnering Term Contract with total integrated team approach in a co-located office for design engineering, programme/planning and cost forecasting /delivery cost control. Works include canal bank stabilisation, locks, sluices, bridges and aqueducts. Environmental, Ecological and Heritage considerations are key construction issues.
A three year partnering contract won in May 2000, by the end of the first year the partnership had scoped and delivered 56 Civil Engineering projects on the Midlands canal network. The next phase, a five-year partnering contract was tendered and won on 19 June 2002.
