Crewe Station Canopy Renewals
Galliford Try was contracted to provide a new canopy for 10 car Pendolino trains at Crewe Station after the existing roof structures over platforms 12 and 13 were found to be substandard.
Canopies were formed from steel sheets to produce a wing profile that offered shelter to the travelling public in all weather conditions whilst allowing ready and easy access for maintenance. All finishes were completed in Virgin train colours to match the rest of the station.
