Falkland Islands Government Partnering Contract

Galliford Try has been working as the construction partner of the Falkland Islands Government for the past decade.

The business has carried out many projects including the construction of a new visitor centre, a new headquarters building for the Island’s Defence Forces, the refurbishment of the town hall, classroom extensions to the infant and junior school as well as new wards at the King Edward Memorial Hospital, Stanley. Works extended to various infrastructure projects, including roads and sewers, an extension to the water treatment works, upgrading and replacement of remote jetties, works to the Newhaven Ferry Terminal for the Cross Island Ferry, improvements to the police station and infrastructure works for the Ministry of Defence.
