Galliford Try carried out a feasibility study to provide two data halls for a managed data and hosting company, housing approximately 250 racks in a total area of 5,000 sq ft.
The proposals were based on a design and build approach through a partnership between Galliford Try and LSH.
The study detailed the design criteria, development proposals and budget costs included the following:
- Executive summary, scope, outputs and key recommendation.
- Room construction.
- Mains power supply.
- Cooling.
- Fire and leak detection.
- Fire suppression.
- Permissions.
- Layout.
- Budget costings.
- Project delivery programme.
