Galliford Try Facilities Management provides emergency response and building repair services for domestic and commercial insurance claims for Norwich Union and its corporate partners; Abbey, Barclays, Saga, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, Marks & Spencer, London & Edinburgh, Asda, and Woolwich.

All works are co-ordinated through a dedicated helpdesk with 24/7 support, providing Norwich Union and its customers with a seamless end to end claims rectification service, and the majority of the works are undertaken by Galliford Try directly employed multi-skilled operatives, enabling the required works to be completed in the shortest possible time.

Our partnership with Norwich Union has led to a far greater appreciation of the needs of their business and their customers. We have progressed from being "just another contractor" to becoming as extension of their own team. For instance, our surveyors are empowered to repudiate claims on site; usually a customer would not find out a claim has been repudiated until they received written confirmation from the insurer - often leading to dissatisfaction and customer attrition. By explaining the reasons the claim is not valid "face to face", and in many cases being able to offer alternative solutions, we are able to diffuse the situation and ensure the customer is satisfied with the outcome.
