Birmingham Schools

Galliford Try Facilities Management provides a total facilities service to 11 schools in Birmingham accommodating around 6,000 students, under a 30 year PFI contract.

The service is delivered by directly employed Galliford Try staff; a dedicated management team, 17 caretakers supported by a specialist supply chain, and all activities are co-ordinated through a dedicated helpdesk.

Perry Beeches School, the largest campus within the portfolio comprises nursery, infant, junior, secondary and special needs schools with shared amenities, accommodated in a number of state of the art facilities constructed by Galliford Try.

The school buildings are featured in a recent book of iconic buildings – Birmingham, Shaping the City, published by RIBA press.

“Working alongside Galliford Try means that our school can focus on our core business, Learning and Teaching knowing that the buildings and site issues are being professionally handled."
Liam Nolan, Head Teacher of Perry Beeches
