At Galliford Try we acknowledge that protection of the environment and climate change are amongst the greatest challenges we face, both as a society and a business. We recognise that we have a key part to play through:
- Minimising the environmental impact and carbon footprint of our operations.
- The long-term sustainability of the products and services we provide.
We continue our focus on increasing the percentage of our construction, demolition and excavation wastes that we divert from UK landfill sites as well as reducing the costs incurred in the disposal of construction related waste streams.
Additionally, we plan to further increase the number of our business units to successfully achieve third party certification to ISO 14001:2004.
