Paul Shorthose
Ticking all the right boxes for homeowner Paul Shorthose is the Carpenter’s Lodge development at Wragby.
Not only does the Linden Homes development offer Paul a spacious home, sought-after garage and a host of amenities and facilities right on the doorstep – but the opportunity to give something back to the community.
Paul has recently moved into his new two-bedroom home at the development, and is preparing for a ‘new life’ when he retires from the RAF.
Stationed at RAF Waddington near Lincoln, Paul will be leaving the forces after 39 years of serving both in the UK and abroad – having worked in the areas of computing, human resources and accounting.
And with an element of spare time on his hands, Paul has already taken time to discover what the local area has to offer, including the Wragby Resource Centre where has offered to do voluntary work with the local community through a ‘computer buddies’ scheme.
Paul said: “My original plan was to live a little closer to RAF Waddington, however having seen what Carpenter’s Lodge has to offer, Wragby is a great location, and my new home ticks all the right boxes.
“The customer journey with Linden Homes was a smooth one, and I am really looking forward not only to becoming part of the local community, but working alongside members of the community to assist them with simple computer skills like setting up an email account, transferring photos or even online shopping.”
