Engagement
We want to learn from others, consult on our approach, share ideas and ensure the Group plays its part in delivering a sustainable economy. We strive to demonstrate to all of the stakeholders in our business that we provide sustainable solutions and services. We seek to influence them to address the sustainable development agenda in their dealings with us. Our stakeholders include local communities, employees, shareholders, customers, our supply chain, regulators and government. We want to play an active role in industry working groups and policy thinking. We are involved with, and regularly, participate in, UKCG, Constructing Excellence and Strategic Forum working Groups. Most recently we joined the UKCG’s ‘Doing Business Responsibly’ Group – set up to improve the perception of the Construction Industry.
