Summer Placements

We offer industrial and summer placement opportunities principally for undergraduates in engineering and construction related disciplines.

Industrial Placement Year
A successful industrial placement year can lead to final year sponsorship and a place on our graduate scheme, as well as being able to contribute to your professional training (CIOB, RICS, ICE or ICES) which gives you the opportunity to gain your professional qualification at an earlier stage.

Vacation Placement
We offer summer vacation placements of at least eight weeks duration to give students an insight into day-to-day working in the construction industry. This proves invaluable experience for students in determining their career preferences.

Sponsorship
As a large, successful company, Galliford Try receives numerous requests for sponsorship from both those about to commence their studies and those currently studying at further education establishments.

We are committed to offering a number of sponsorship opportunities to undergraduates at various further education establishments and we also support the ICE Quest Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme and the Construction Skills Inspire Scholarship Scheme. You may also be eligible to receive sponsorship following an industrial or summer placement with us.
