Our Recruitment Process
Once you have decided which role(s) is most relevant for you, the application process will commence as follows:
Stage One: CV and Cover Letter Submission
Your initial application will be completed through our standard application form. We encourage you to carefully study the available options and preferred geographical locations when completing the form and ensure that you attach your CV and cover letter. You will receive an automatic email advising that we have received your application.
If you are unsuccessful to the next stage of the process you will receive an email advising you of this no later than 4 weeks after the closing date (02 January).
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide individual feedback to applicants at this stage if you are not selected for telephone interview.
Stage Two: Telephone Interview
If you are successful in the first round, we will arrange a 10-15-minute telephone interview with you. During this time, we will discuss your application and CV in more detail, explore some of your experiences to date and gain an understanding in your motivations for applying to Galliford Try. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions which you may have about our graduate programme.
Following your telephone interview you will receive feedback within approximately two weeks as to whether you have been successful in proceeding to the next stage. Telephone interviews will be conducted throughout December and January.
Stage Three: Assessment Centre
A half day assessment centre will allow you to demonstrate your skills through a variety of methods, provide you with an interactive and informative experience, and enable you to meet some of the senior managers you may end up working with.
Our assessment centres will be held on the below dates in the following locations:
Solihull - 1st and 8th March (am and pm sessions)
Uxbridge – 14th and 22nd March
Final Stage: Interview
If you are successful at our assessment centre, you will be invited to a face-to- face meeting/interview at one of our regional offices with your potential new line manager for the role you have applied for. You will be given the opportunity to find out more about the role itself in the business unit you would be based within.
Candidates will be notified of the outcome within approximately 14 days of their interview.
