Pickaquoy
Morrison Construction undertook the construction of the Pickaquoy Leisure Centre in Kirkwall, creating an innovative leisure centre for residents on the Island of Orkney.
The new development houses a sport hall, health suite, 240 seat cinema, projection room, general purpose studios, catering facilities and offices.
Morrison Construction's design process ensured ease of access for wheelchair users, facilitated by parking bays, ramps, wide doors at the entrance, a lift to both floors and dedicated toilets and changing facilities.
