South East Essex LIFT

This scheme comprises a 25 year framework partnering agreement for construction services with South East Essex Lift Ltd to fund and develop health and social care facilities across the South East Essex region. The first tranche of the framework is estimated to be £26 million. The first project is an £8.3 million state-of-the-art primary care centre on Canvey Island (The Paddocks).

The Paddocks:
The Paddocks is a health care centre and combines five local GP surgeries with a minor operations suite and a pharmacy to form a one stop health facility for the residents of Canvey Island.

The building has been designed to be energy efficient, incorporating high standards of insulation and uses bio mass boilers to cut down its carbon footprint.
