Larmenier & Sacred Heart School

The Larmenier & Sacred Heart School project in West London is the amalgamation of a separate junior school and infant school into one site.

Galliford Try undertook the construction of a new, purpose built, state-of-the-art primary school using a reinforced concrete frame in one and two storey linked buildings on the existing site of the school.

Externally, a “green roof” has been constructed using a Bauder Green Roof System and PV cells have been installed to enable solar power throughout the school. The new school, designed by architects Studio E, who recently won the Best School Architect award at the British Council for School Environments awards, provides an efficient learning environment. The architects also secured the award for Inspiring Design for their work on Larmenier and Sacred Heart Primary School.
