The Blade
Galliford Try is undertaking the construction of a speculative mixed-use development in Reading town centre. The project, which is located on the grounds of the original Reading Abbey, involves the protection of a medieval arch (a scheduled ancient monument) and comprises the construction of a 15 storey building.
The new development will provide 10,000sq m of lettable space, and 6,000sq m of retail space across the first and ground floors of the residential block. An eight storey residential block with 32 apartments will complete the scheme.
