Bedford Street
The Bedford Street development takes advantage of Galliford Try’s expertise in working with retained facades on restricted sites. The existing building, which features a listed facade, dates back to the beginning of the last century and is listed within the Covent Garden Conservation Area.
Demolition works to the existing structure took place behind the existing facade and involved the construction of a new concrete structure with new larger floor plates.
During the project's early stages carried out the excavations in cooperation with archaeological experts who are interested in tracing the roots of Saxon London.
