The project comprises the redevelopment of a former local authority estate to provide circa 450 mixed tenure new homes as part of a neighbourhood regeneration scheme.
The scheme proposals provide for up to 40 per cent affordable homes for both rent and shared equity, with the balance of homes for outright sale. This catalyst scheme is a regional priority, links with the adjoining development of a new health centre and involves high levels of community consultation.
The scheme will incorporate approximately £10 million of HCA grant and Stamford Homes has been nominated by Shoreline Housing to receive and administer grant funding. The new development will incorporate, home zones, inspiring designs and high levels of environmental performance and will transform a previously marginalised and run down estate.
