Excellence in Affordable Housing & Regeneration

Galliford Try HCA Funding

Galliford Try has been awarded two lots of funding from the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA). The first grant will provide support for first time buyers under the FirstBuy programme. The scheme will enable purchasers to own their own home using an equity loan scheme, helping people get on the property ladder with a minimum five per cent deposit. Funding has also been secured under the Affordable Homes Programme 2011-15 which aims to increase the supply of new affordable homes in England.

Galliford Try has decades of experience delivering regeneration and mixed tenure housing schemes across the UK.

We are working with public sector bodies, including the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA), local authorities and more than 60 housing associations.

Our successful partnerships with the HCA on a variety of schemes over the years illustrates our experience and our ability to understand, adapt to and deliver exceptional innovative high quality schemes regardless of the mix of tenures, uses, or the scale of the development. We are known for delivering to high design and construction quality standards, and pride ourselves on meeting and exceeding the aspirations of our clients.

Our strategy is to devise nationally, and deliver locally. The capabilities and resources of our corporate structure are filtered through to our regional businesses, where they combine with in-depth local knowledge to deliver economies of scale, best practice, and bespoke solutions to meet the needs of neighbourhoods and communities. Through our Partnerships Division and our regional housebuilders we manage the delivery of locally accountable, centrally funded services. Our Business Units engage with local and national suppliers and are supported by an in-house central services division providing consistency, innovation, engaging with national clients, extracting synergies across the breadth of our business.
